About two hours outside of the Oaxaca, Mexico sits Hierve el Aqua. Upon entering the probable sacred site to the Zapotecs 2,500 years ago, you’re ushered in through cacti, shrub and a mountainous range. I’m always struck by how most often times the most beautiful places have multiple layers to them. This gem of a place is no different.
