Almost quarterly, I visit a monastery for a bit of solitude and rest.  The first time I visited, I asked what I should bring.  I was told ‘simplicity can be very helpful for spiritual growth’ so, in effect, don’t bring much.  When I look at these homes, I notice they don’t hold much.  They hold what is necessary for day to day life, but not much beyond that. 

When I see these trailers, I see freedom. And from there - creativity, wildness and peace.
